PaxxMOS is a household organizer app made by OwnerClone, Inc. It texts you only about your own account. Texting is how we reach you when it matters and you are not looking at an app — a bill that needs a yes, a child who may need you, a visit in your care circle, the dinner you planned. Only the kinds you turned on, never ads, and you can stop it at any time by replying STOP.
1. How you agree to texts
You add a mobile number on your PaxxMOS profile, or during setup, and confirm it with a one-time code we text to it. Texting is never required to use PaxxMOS. There are two separate boxes, both unticked until you tick them, and each one covers only what it says:
Adding a mobile number to your PaxxMOS profile
Shown with links to these Texting Terms and our Privacy Policy.
How it works: An unchecked checkbox under the mobile number field on the PaxxMOS profile and setup screens. The number is confirmed with a texted code either way; the account works without the box.
Setting your dinner time when you plan the week
Shown with links to these Texting Terms and our Privacy Policy.
How it works: An unchecked checkbox beside the dinner time on the weekly meal plan. Planning the week, and being reminded inside the app, both work without it.
We keep a record of each box you tick or untick, with the exact wording you saw. Unticking one box stops only those texts. One-time sign-in and phone codes are sent only when you ask for one.
2. What we text
- Sign-in and phone codes. Example: “482913 is your PaxxMOS sign-in code. It expires in 10 minutes. If you didn’t ask for it, ignore this text.”
- Bill and task reminders. Example: “PaxxMOS: Gabi here. Your Georgia Power bill ($142.18) is scheduled for Oct 15. Open PaxxMOS to change it. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Safety alerts about your children. Example: “PaxxMOS Safety Alert: Sam mentioned being bullied during a conversation. Please check in with them. This is not an emergency — but your attention is needed. Open PaxxMOS for details. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Care-circle visit notices. Example: “PaxxMOS: Mom had a checkup visit on Oct 9. To ask for a copy, open PaxxMOS: https://www.paxxmos.com/myclone/care Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Dinner reminders. Example: “PaxxMOS: Chicken parm tonight at 6:00 — about time to start. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Texts about a child go only to that child’s parent or guardian in the household. Care-circle notices go only to people a member added to their own care circle, and only if those people have turned on account alerts themselves.
3. How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies with what you turned on. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Stopping texts, and getting help
- Reply STOP to any PaxxMOS text to stop all texts from that number. We reply: “PaxxMOS: You're unsubscribed and will get no more texts from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.”
- Reply START to turn them back on. We reply: “PaxxMOS: You're signed up for account alerts and reminders. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
- Reply HELP for help. We reply: “PaxxMOS: account alerts and reminders. Help: info@ownerclone.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”
- You can also untick either box on your PaxxMOS profile or meal plan at any time.
